Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Sammie Coates will be OUT Sunday due to the broken finger that severely limited his practice time going into the game versus Miami. Eli Rodgers and Darius Heyward-Bey will now be featured in a more prominent role alongside Antonio Brown.
Analysis: It was widely assumed Coates was 50/50 to go but now at least we get some clarity with a night to go. Rodgers was great in Week 1 but completely vanished in Week 2 so he is not the best replacement. Count on Brown and Jesse James getting a big uptick in targets from Ben Roethlisberger and Coates' absence is a big blow for his standing since it kills momentum from his big Week 5 breakout.
