The career narrative of San Francisco 49ers running back Carlos Hyde was cemented yet again on Wednesday when head coach Chip Kelly pretty much confirmed that his starter would miss the Week 7 contest versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Now in his third year in the league, Hyde has missed almost half of the games he has been elibible to play and this time a bum shoulder that he first injured in last week's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills is what has sent him to the bench. We said in our draft guide this summer and on the website to avoid Hyde if you can given the chronic injury issues and we are seeing why we were so concerned. Adding to the frustration is the fact Kelly will go with a strict and dreaded committee in Hyde's place versus the Buc's; a group that includes Shaun Draughn, and Mike Davis. Reports are indicating Davis will get the high-end of the carries but that Draughn could get goal-line work. In other words, avoid this mess if you can.
