Toronto Blue Jays manager John Gibbsons reiterated Tuesday that Roberto Osuna would remain the closer for 2017 and not be converted into a starter. Osuna has developed into one of the best closers in the game as he pitched to a splendid 2.68 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 82 strikeouts in 74 innings. While the Jays had at one time anticipated making Osuna a starter given his strikeout stuff, the fact he will remain in the ninth inning means he is set to be a top ten fantasy baseball closer again for 2017.
