FANTASY FOOTBALL HALFTIME NEWS AND NOTES

-So much for the shootout between the New Orleans Saints and NY Giants.  7-3 score at the half with the only TD on a blocked punt.  Eli Manning and Drew Brees have ZERO scores between them which is about the biggest shock of the day.

-Coby Fleener is pure garbage.  He has missed on a Brees throw around 5-6 times in the game with just one catch.  It is not happening here.  Colossal bust right now.

-What a difference a week makes for A.J. Green and Antonio Brown.  Both guys very quiet in the first half in the defensive battle between Pitt and Cincy.  Big Ben has been intercepted twice as well.

-Theo Riddick could be in line for a HUGE role in all leagues going forward if Ameer Abdullah ankle injury is serious.  The slight Abdullah is always an injury risk and here we go there.

-Ezekiel Elliott has his second rushing TD but both have come right near the goal line and once again he has lacked flash.

-Corey Coleman likes having Josh McCown at QB as he has two scores in the first half.  I said earlier in the week that McCown is a smart veteran who is a better pure passer then RG3 and his presence will boost the values of Gary Barnridge and Coleman.

-Second big week for Will Fuller who made some big catches early on and looks great.  Another pick by Brock Osweiler though which makes it one in each game.

-Jimmy Garappolo was doing a great Tom Brady impression with three passing TD's before going out with a shoulder injury.  The shoulder injury looked nasty so this could be bad.

-Jay Ajayi is getting a second chance with Arian Foster hurt yet again.  If Ajayi can do anything in this one, he could be a nice pickup this week.
