FANTASY FOTBALL INJURY FALLOUT: TORN ACL FINISHED DANNY WOODHEAD FOR 2016, MELVIN GORDON BECOMES MAJOR ASSET

When San Diego Chargers do-everything running back Danny Woodhead went down in the first half if the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, the visuals were not go from the outset as knees don't usuually buckle the way his did.  That made it no shock regarding the news Woodhead is finished with a torn ACL in his knee, just a week after the Chargers also lost ace wideout Keenan Allen to the same injury.  As unfortunate as the injury is for Woodhead and his fantasy football owners, those who own stock in Melvin Gordon now find their guy slated for bellcow work and also an uptick in pass receptions.  Gordon has looked great so far through two games as he has picked up three rushing scores and showed good burst.  He has now moves into firm RB 2 status in all formats and has a chance to be a RB 1 in PPR if he gets the workload we anticipate.
