Finally after three weeks of waiting, Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will make his deason debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday night. By now all of Charles' owners are just grateful to have him back despite the fact he will likely back up Spencer Ware for at least one more game. It was a painstakingly slow process for Charles coming back from last year's seocnd torn ACL in his knee but Andy Reid apparently was happy with his explosiveness in practice this past week and so that is why he earned the green light. We did say from the beginning to avoid Charles due to his age and the fact he was coming back from a second ACL year but Ware is not going away as at least a 50/50 timeshare partner. This limits Charles' status to clear RB 2 in all formats and ideally you want to go with someone else for Week 4 given the uncertainty of the workload. However bask in the fact that Charles will be active again as he is a terrific talent who will make his fantasy football hay at some point.
