FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 1 ISSUES: JAMAAL CHARLES OUT, TIMESHARE ON TAP WITH WEST/WARE?

Not another one.  Throwing cold water on the sudden massive expectations attached to Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware leading into fantasy football Week 1, head coach Andy Reid sounded like a man prepared to use a split between Ware and Charcandrick West against the San Diego Chargers.  He also pretty much confirmed the obvious with regards to Jamaal Charles sitting this one out but the committee plan is a HUGE setback for those who own West and were hoping for a bellcow day.  In reality though, West is a skilled back who was actually the starter a year ago when Charles first went down with his torn ACL.  The speedster had some nice games before an injury opened the door to Ware splitting duties the rest of the way.  Now the matchup is perfect since the Chargers defense has been awful for years but now Ware's owners have to seriously consider what to do here.  In standard formats I would definately go ahead and start West as he will clearly get the goal-line work but in PPR it is a bit trickier.  Still I would go with Ware there as well and hope this is more of a 75-25 split.

  1. I decoded your message, but I've been watching the whole Jamaal Charles thing unfold since I took a stab at him when he dropped into my hands in the 4th round a couple of weeks ago. Most folks however, would have no idea what you're talking about with the way that you used West and Ware in your piece. It turns out your article is a piece of useless information if one doesn't know how to decode your message. You might want to pay attention to your writing and edit before you submit next time. Just a heads up if you are the fantasy Sports boss and not just a Buster.
