FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 1 ISSUES: CHRIS IVORY HURT ALREADY WITH CALF ISSUE, GET T.J. YELDON READY IN CASE

The season has not even officially begun and Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory is on the injury report. This time Ivory was listed as having a calf injury and anyone who knows both from fantasy football and fantasy baseball, calf injuries can be very tough and linger.  Having signed Ivory in free agency for his power running (also coming off his first 1,000-yard rushing season with the New York Jets) to complement second-year back T.J. Yeldon, the one knock on the veteran has been his penchant for getting hurt.  In fact we have not seen a season where Ivory has not been injured and that is because his hard running style invites contact and results in ailments.  Again calf injuries can be tough and while it is still early in the week to worry, T.J. Yeldon needs to be ready for every down work in case Ivory can't go.  I am a big fan of Yeldon and think he got a raw deal in having Ivory come into town.  Yeldon can both run and catch the football so he would overnight turn into a firm RB 2 in all formats if Ivory is out.
