FANTASY FOOTBALL INJURY FALLOUT: ARIAN FOSTER (GROIN) OUT SUNDAY, COMMITTEE ON TP

Here we go again.  The theme leading up to fantasy football Week 3 is the massive amount of injuries and turmoil impacting the running back position.  We already have seen Adrian Peterson go out for the season with a torn meniscus and Detroit Lions starter Ameer Abdullah require foot surgery.  In addition, backfields in Carolina, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Chicago, Miami, and Kansas City remain in flux with games just days away.  Adding to this list of mayhem is Miami where Arian Foster will sit out Sunday with a sore groin.  In his place, the Dolphins will use a pass-heavy approach with QB Ryan Tannehill and also sprinkle in runs from a committee that includes Jay Ajayi, Kenyan Drake, Damien Williams, and Isaiah Pead.  Ajayi is the name most fantasy football players chases this past waiver Wednesday but keep in mind how brutal he was during the summer and also the coaching staff is down on him after he went AWOL leading up to Week 1.  The hope is that Drake can be the guy to emerge here but this is a situation you want to avoid completely for this week.  Foster is expected to return for Week 4 which means investing here is pointless given the short amount of time the Miami backups will get to go into the spotlight.
