FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKING NEWS: MATT JONES (SHOULDER) EXPECTS TO START WEEK 1

After getting in a practice on Monday despite wearing a red non-contact jersey, Washington Redskins running back Matt Jones says he expected to start Week 1.  The current plan is for Jones to get in a contact practice as soon as Wednesday and if he comes out of it in one piece, he will be good to go.

Analysis:  Things are looking up here for Jones who is a true wild card in fantasy football this season.  The chance is there for Jones to be a big RB 2 with his speed and home-run ability but too often he dances around the hole and is indecisive in his cuts.  That led to an ugly yards per carry average as a rookie last season and combined with the emergence of rookie Rob Kelley this summer, makes Jones far from a sure bet.
