2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL ISSUES: LE'VEON BELL GETS ONE GAME SLASHED FROM SUSPENSION

The song and dance continued Friday in terms of suspended NFL players going through the grievance process and getting a game or two chopped off the original tally.  Such is what happened with Pittsburgh Steleers running back Le'Veon Bell who had one game cut from his original four-game suspension for missing a series of drug tests in the offseason.  Bell will remain in the Stage 2 tier of the NFL's drug program which will result in another four game ban if he were to run afoul again.  So for the second fantasy football season in a row, Bell will be on the sidelines at the start like he was when he was forced to miss Week 1 and Week 2 of 2015 for being pinched with marajuana.  Thus now the balancing act of where to draft Bell begins for those who still haven't picked their teams yet.  In actuality, if you can get Bell anywhere in Round 2, you did very well.  On talent alone and with no looming suspension, Bell was our number 1 ranked player ahead of Antonio Brown and Todd Gurley.  There is no one better in the game as well when it comes to rushing and receiving impact which again would make Bell a sweet value pick in Round 2.  At the end of Round 1 is where things get dicey because three missed games is a decent slate of lost statistics and Bell also is not dependable with his health which is another factor not to be overlooked.  We would sign off though given how rare bell cow backs like Bell are and that goes double for those who excel both in running and receiving.  Meanwhile if do draft Bell, you are forced to reach a round or two early for DeAngelo Williams who did a nice job in his counterpart's place a year ago.  That is the price of going in Bell;s direction.
