FANTASY BASEBALL TRADE DEALINE NEWS: METS HAVE CHECKED IN ON RICH HILL

After seeing Matt Harvey lost for the season and now Noah Syndegaard and Steven Matz dealing with their own health woes, the New York Mets have touched base with the Oakland A's regarding Rich Hill.  A free agent at the end of the season, Hill has been a spectacular signing with a 3.32 ERA and 10.66 K/9 rate at the age of 36.

Analysis:  No shock here as the Mets now need to shore up the rotation and the A's have been a frequent trade partner over the years.  With Hill a free agent at the end of the season, he would be just a rental but a good one at that.  Look for Hill to be moved eventually whether to the Mets or another playoff team like the Toronto Blue Jays or Baltimore Orioles.
