FANTASY BASEBALL TRADE DEADLINE NEWS AND NOTES:

By Michael Wong

-With the New York Yankees having taken three out of four against the Cleveland Indians, any "For Sale" sign has been taken down for the time being.  Still team sources continue to monitor the market so that they are ready to move Carlos Beltran and Aroldis Chapman who both would go in a sale.  Also the Yankees would not hesitate to deal away Jacoby Ellsbury or Brett Gardner as well in order to get our from under their contracts.

-The Toronto Blue Jays continue to talk with the Cincinnati Reds about Jay Bruce and all signs continue to point to a deal getting done at some point.

-The Oakland A's look like they will be the center of the selling universe as no less than 10 teams have called about Rich Hill and a bunch as well regarding Ryan Madson.  Also Josh Reddick is a fallback option for Toronto, while the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs have also touched base.

-The Milwaukee Brewers will move Chris Carter "in a second" according to a source and they are also listening but not actively interested in moving Ryan Braun.  Also closer Jeremy Jeffress is on the market as the Brewers think a healthy Will Smith can close for them.  Jeffress was scouted heavily by the Miami Marlins before they went with Fernando Rodney.

-The Tampa Bay Rays are determined to deal away Matt Moore but the Jake Odorizzi to Texas talks have cooled.
