FANTASY BASEBALL CLOSING TIME: ARODYS VIZCAINO TO HIT DL WITH OBLIQUE, JIM JOHNSON AGAIN????

Yet another in a recent long line of closer injuries flared up again Friday night as Atlanta Braves stopper Arodys Vizcaino lasted all of three pitches in his appearance before exiting with a strained oblique that will land him on the 15-day DL starting Saturday.  While Vizcaino has put a lot of runners on base in his first season closing (1.47 WHIP) but the 3.00 ERA and 47 K's in 36 IP were big positives.  With obliques tending to linger, Vizcaino could be down for three weeks or more.  As far as the fallout, Jim Johnson picked up the save with a scoreless ninth in relief of Vizcaino Friday night and being a veteran, he stands the best chance to getting the call.  Having been beaten up pretty bad the last few seasons, Johnson has been somewhat decent in 2016 with a 4.06 ERA and 1.23 WHIP.  However Mauricio Cabrera has opened some eyes with a high-powered fastball in his 7.1 innings with the Braves since being promoted so he at least should be monitored.  Johnson of course can be scary to watch in the ninth inning but if you have just one slot to use, he is the one we would bet on.
