FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: NOAH SYNDEGAARD EXITS WITH INJURY

Just a day after it was learned that the team likely has lost Matt Harvey for the remainder of the 2016 season with TOS, Noah Syndegaard was forced out of his start Friday night with an undisclosed ailment.  Syndegaard struggled prior to his exit in giving up three runs in 4.2 innings and his velocity dipped as he went along.  An update is expected shortly.

Analysis:  Not good.  The Mets are losing players on a daily basis now and this is the THIRD injury scare now for Syndegaard and the first since it was revealed he was dealing with a bone spur in his elbow.  No structural damage was found in the elbow and it was said Syndegaard would not need surgery for it.  Still I have said from the beginning that it is only a matter of time before Syndegaard will need Tommy John surgery as guys who throw 100-mph have only a certain amount of bullets before the elbow snaps.
