2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL ISSUES: LE'VEON BELL TO BE SUSPENDED FOUR GAMES

It is always something with this guy.  ESPN's Dan Graziano reported early on Friday that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell will be suspended four games to begin the 2016 season by the NFL for violating the substance abuse policy.  A skipped drug test is the reason for the suspension as it is assumed the player is guilty in such a scenario and this marks the second season in a row now Bell will miss time due to drugs after he sat the first two games of 2015 after being pulled over for marajuan poessession that summer.  It is unlikely NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will allow any reduction to the four games since this is a second offense so those who are involved in fantasy football need to drastically push Bell down their rankings at the position.  The hands down best runner/receiver in the game among backs, Bell was in the running to be the number 1 pick in many leagues this season but now the suspension drops him to at least Round 3 or lower.  With Bell also showing himself to be injury-prone as well, his fantasy football stock is becoming quite volatile to say the least.  As a result of the suspension, veteran DeAngelo Williams will be the starter in Pittsburgh and he did very well filling in for Bell the first two games a year ago.  Williams should be boosted up a bit as a decent RB 2 and those looking for value now can target Bell after Round 2 is finished.
