2016 FANTASY FOOTBALL ISSUES: EZEKIEL ELLIOTT FACING POSSIBLE SUSPENSION FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Unreal.  Just hours after it was reported that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell would likely be suspended for four games for a violation of the NFL drug policy, word has come down Friday that Dallas Cowboys rookie back Ezekiel Elliott could be in hot water after a possible domestic violence incident with his girlfriend.  Elliott's girlfriend by the name of Tiffany Thompson showed photos to TMZ of bruises on her body that she claims were inflicted by Elliott who was the number four overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.  The images are stark and very bad evidence of Elliott's possible actions and now attention turns to a possible suspension from Roger Goodell.  We have already seen Goodell try and make up for his Ray Rice gaffe by sticking it to Greg Hardy which was overturned some by an arbiter but count on a stuff punishment based on the evidence.  The fallout is big of course for 2016 fantasy football as Elliott was going as a mid-first round pick as he was expected to be a rare bellcow back for the Cowboys this season.  With both Bell and Elliott now likely out of commission in September, fantasy football draft are now being drastically recalculated.  Guys like Todd Gurley, David Johnson, and Adrian Peterson move up toward the top, while first rounds now may be dominated by wideouts.  What a joke.
