FANTASY BASEBALL WELCOME TO THE SHOW: STEVEN MOYA OUTFIELDER DETROIT TIGERS

With the Detroit Tigers lineup fresh off being struck out 20 times by Max Scherzer on Wednesday night and with Miguel Cabrera looking like he is on the decline so far, the team went to the minor league well to promote power-hitting outfield prospect Steven Moya early Thursday.  While Moys is currently blocked from a clear starting assignment by Justin Upton, the upside is interesting as he comes in batting .310 with 9 home runs and 24 RBI in onlu 31 games.  The 24-year-old carries the profile of a home run specialist as his K rates have been very high in the minors and at Triple-A a year ago he batted just .240 but with 20 home runs.  This is a move to make only in AL-only formats as there will not be enough initial playing time for Moya to get enoguh potential value.
