FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FALLOUT: FRACTURED THUMB LIKELY TO SIDELINE JOSH REDDICK FOR A MONTH

After having his thumb smash into the cleat of New York Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro during a steal attempt in Thursday night's game, X-rays after the game revealed a fracture in the joint for Oakland A's outfielder Josh Reddick.  Reddick will go on the DL prior to Friday's game and he is expected to miss a month recovering from the break.  While not a big name since his early breakout with the A's a number of years ago, Reddick had settled into being a very useful fantasy baseball outfielder who was capable of 15-plus home runs and a handful of stolen bases.  Very underrated at the draft table, Reddick was a constant value play who you could stick into your outfielder 3 slot and not look back.  Now he is out until late June at the earliest but if you can stash him, try and so do.
