FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FOCUS: ANDREW HEANEY HITS THE DL WITH FLEXOR STRAIN

The 2016 fantasy baseball season is not even a week old but already prime players are starting to hit the disabled list for various maladies.  A decent name went down Wednesday when the Los Angeles Angels placed young and promising SP Andrew Heaney on the DL with a left flexor muscle strain which followed him complaining of tightness after his Tuesday start.  Heaney set off alarms when his velocity dipped during the game and the Angels quickly moved to DL him once the diagnosis became official.  Flexor strains can be tricky for a pitcher to come back from after 15 days and a month has also resulted in some cases.  Either way it is a decent blow to Heaney's owners as the youngster has immense hype and promise coming up with the Miami Marlins due to his splendid control and solid K rate.  Stash him if you can due to the upside.
