FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: TOMMY PHAM EXITS WITH SORE OBLIQUE

After Matt Holliday got the start at first base which opened up the leftfield spot for Tommy Pham in the St. Louis Cardinals' opener, the latter was forced out of the game in just one at-bat in with right oblique soreness.  Pham will be evaluated again after the game as he was replaced by Holliday and Matt Adams went to first.

Analysis:  Oblique's are almost always DL issues so Pham's season is already off to a rough start.  Holliday is likely to stay in leftfield while Pham is out which eliminates any added first base eligibility for the time being.  Stay tuned for an update.
