2016 FANTASY BASEBALL UPDATED CATCHER RANKINGS

Let's take another look at the updated catcher rankings as the 2016 fantasy baseball season gets seat to launch.

1.  Buster Posey:  Posey has no peer once again among catchers.  Always have to decide if the extreme price is worth it though.
2.  Kyle Schwarber:  Takes a ton of walks which should offset the high K rate and not hurt the average too much.  Massive power potential and right there among the most sought after players in fantasy baseball.
3.  Brian McCann:  Old reliable who is a lock for 25 home runs but an ugly .230 average due to his inability to beat the shift.
4.  Salvador Perez:  Now has settled into a .260 hitter but with more power than he showed when he first arrived.
5.  Devin Mesoraco:  Having a nice spring and showing his old power before the hip surgery.  Primed for major bounce back campaign.
6.  Travis D'Arnaud:  Just stay healthy bro.
7.  Stephen Vogt:  Tired second half of last season which sent numbers spiraling.  Could be better equipped to handle rigors.
8.  Jonathan Lucroy
9.  Russell Martin
10 Wellington Castillo
11 Yan Gomes
12 Yasmani Grandal:  Shoulder problems this spring a reminder of his fragility.  Could be a tremendous power guy if the health cooperates though.
13 Blake Swihart
14 Matt Wieters:  Once again battling elbow problems but seems ready to go for Opening Day.  Caleb Joseph could be a factor yet again this season.
15. Derek Norris
16. Blake Swihart
17. J.T. Realmuto:  Tremendous catcher 2 who can even steal some bases.
18. Miguel Montero
19. Robinson Chirinos
20. Wilson Ramos
21. Cameron Rupp
22. Francisco Cervelli
23. Hank Conger
24. Kurt Suzuki
