FANTASY FOOTBALL FREE AGENCY FALLOUT: CHRIS IVORY LANDING IN JACKSONVILLE WILL LIKELY NEUTER T.J. YELDON UPSIDE

As free agent began soon after the Denver Broncos claimed the Lombardi Trophy, Chris Ivory was set to be one of the more sought-after running backs on the open market.  Coming off his first 1,000-yards season with the NEw York Jets in 2015, Ivory was set to cash in and possibly land as a bellcow back somewhere else.  Known for a bruising and hard-charging straight ahead running style, Ivory has had challenges staying healthy in his career but his ability has never been in doubt.  Then the market opened and Ivory curiously chose the Jacksonville Jaguars as his landing spot which puts him into a strict time-share system with second-year back T.J. Yeldon.  Yeldon just put the finishing touches on a solid rookie debut for the Jags in 2015 where he showed both his running and receiving skills.  We could thus be looking at a situation in fantasy football terms where Ivory is the more valuable weapon in PPR formats due to the likliehood he gets goal-line touches, while Yeldon gains more cache in PPR setups due to his excellent receiving ability.  Overall though both guys get hurt by this arrangement and will as a result fall to clear RB 2 status.
