FANTASY BASEBALL NEWS: MARLINS MONITORING GIANCARLO STANTON'S KNEE SORENESS

Alarms went off early Monday when it revealed that Miami Marlins slugging outfielder Giancarlo Stanton was scratched from his spring outing with soreness in his surgically-repaired knee.  Whispers emanating from the team facility suggested Stanton was just being held out due to the long road trip but the Marlins are also watching him closely so as to make sure there are no more issues there.

Analysis:  Hmmmmm.  This seems like much adieu about nothing but still it bears watching.  Stanton is the premier slugger in baseball when healthy but he has had some rotten injury luck the last few years.  That makes him a first round pick again this season but we are still waiting for 40 home runs from the guy.
