FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: ORIOLES BRING BACK CHRIS DAVIS ON A 7-YEAR DEAL WORTH $161 MILLION

After weeks of haggling, the Baltimore Orioles finally brought back free agent 1B/outfielder Chris Davis on a seven-year deal worth $161 million dollars.  When word leaked that the Orioles had offered a five-year deal to fellow free agent outfielder Yoenis Cespedes on Friday, both sides went back to the bargaining table and talked throughout the night Friday to get the deal complete.

Analysis:  Well it certainly looks like the gambit with Cespedes worked.  The Orioles wanted Davis back all along but the slugger first needed to come down from his sky-high demands.  It is the perfect spot for Davis who is right there with Giancarlo Stanton in terms of being the best power hitter in fantasy baseball given the offensive prowess of the Orioles' home park.  Davis should be in second round territory this season but he carries batting average risk.
