FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: METS COULD SIGN YOENIS CESPEDES TO ONE-YEAR DEAL

The New York Mets have waited out the free agent market and now are prepared to offer one-year deals to Yoenis Cespedes or Justin Upton according to multiple reports.  With both Cespedes and Upton not finding interested parties like they anticipated when free agency began, the Mets are trying to buy low on either one.

Analysis:  Smart move by the Mets and other teams figure to get involved if the price keeps dropping like this.  Cespedes is coming off a career-high in home runs last season but the market just hasn't developed.  The Detroit Tigers are also involved here reportedly but wherever Cespedes or Upton end up, they will be low-end OF 1's.
