2016 FANTASY BASEBALL PLAYER ANALYZER: COREY DICKERSON OUTFIELDER COLORADO ROCKIES

Yes it was just days ago where he did a Player Analyzer on Dickerson who was looking to put a completely injury-wrecked 2015 campaign behind him after a big April.  The smooth-swinging Dickerson was primed for a 30-home run season which would have surprised no one if not for suffering a dreaded plantar fascia injury in his foot that put him on the DL twice and hampered his numbers.  After swatting 24 home runs in 2014 and looking like a future star who also could hit .300-plus, Dickerson sank to only 10 long balls in 2015 as he picked up only 224 at-bats.  Still Dickerson batted .304 and continued to show very intriguing ability as a future outfielder 1, being assisted even more by his Coors Field home environment.  It was under the heading of being  Rockie where we gave Dickerson the following 2016 projection:

2016 PROJECTION:  .305 28 HR 93 RBI 84 R 7 SB

As a result of the trade, Dickerson now moves from one of the best hitter's parks in the majors to one of the worst in Tampa Bay.  With Tampa Bay being known as a top pitcher's park, Dickerson no doubt will lose a few home runs, runs, and RBI based on the move; as well as batting average.  Consider that in his big 2014 campaign, Dickerson only batted .252 with 9 home runs and 23 RBI.  At Coors Field those numbers jumped to 15 home runs, 53 RBI, and a sparkling .353 average.  This is troubling with Dickerson now going to Tampa Bay and so as a result he should be moved to outfielder 2 status and have the following projection:

.289 22 HR 88 RBI 84 R 4 SB
