FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 13 ADDS

Already it is Week 13 in fantasy football as the playoff weeks beckon.  Here are the all-important pickups for this week's slate of crucial games.

David Johnson:  Likely the number 1 add this week is Arizona Cardinals rookie back David Johnson.  A broken tibia has finished off starter Chris Johnson and backup Andre Ellington is hobbled with a persistent case of turf toe.  Enter David Johnson who has been picking up the touchdowns on the ground this season as the goal-line back, while also showcasing good receiving ability.  The kid has some good power and agility and the Cardinals will now ride him as the starter the rest of the way.  Very interesting PPR value and Johnson already has made his way into standard with his scores.

Scott Chandler:  With Rob Gronkowski likely sidelined for Week 13 with a knee sprain, backup tight end Scott Chandler will move front and center in the New England Patriots passing game.  Chandler was targeted very heavily once Gronk went out injured late Sunday night and remember he was a very good goal-line receiver for the Buffalo Bills prior.  Could be a sweet payoff for at least this week for those in need of a tight end.

Marcus Mariota:  Those who are involved in two-QB formats need to embrace the terrific rookie season Marcus Mariota has had in a difficult rebuilding situation with the Tennessee Titans.  He has been very poised with his passing in the pocket, while also showing off the running ability that made him such a prized prospect in the first place.  Enter Week 13 where Mariota gets the awful Jacksonville Jaguars defense to feast on.

Matt Hasselbeck:  Now 4-0 as the starter, ageless QB Matt Hasselbeck gets to continue playing with the vast array of Indianapolis Colt receivers for another week.  He gets a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that was just absolutely torched by Russell Wilson in the passing game.

Doug Baldwin:  Coming off a two-TD catch game versus the Steelers, Doug Baldwin has moved to the forefront of the Seattle passing game.  His importance grows with the loss of tight end Jimmy Graham to a season ending knee injury.

Vance McDonald:  Garrett Celek is out injured for the San Francisco 49ers the next few weeks and that puts McDonald in the driver's seat as the main outlet for still raw QB Blaine Gabbert.

Tennessee Titans:  The Titans defense has gotten a bit better as the season has gone on and they are a stremable unit this week against the mistake-prone Blake Bortles Jacksonville Jaguars offense.
