FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: NATS COULD HAVE DEAL IN PLACE FOR DARREN O'DAY

Reports of an agreed upon deal between the Washington Nationals and ace reliever Darren O'Day could be announced late Friday, just hours after the team also inked fellow lefty reliever Oliver Perez.  O'Day is still being pursued by the Baltimore Orioles who are trying not to lose him to the Nats but all indications are it may be too late.

Analysis:  The Nationals clearly made bolstering their bullpen their main plan this offseason based on their signing of Perez and dogged pursuit of O'Day.  O'Day's tough delivery makes him a nightmare for opposing hitters and he arguably has been the most dominant non-closing reliever in baseball the last four years.  He would pair with Perez to serve as a major bridge to closer Jonathan Papelbon.
