FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: RED SOX INK CHRIS YOUNG TO ONE-YEAR DEAL

The Boston Red Sox signed outfielder Chris Young to a one-year deal, with the terms not yet disclosed.  Young will likely man the same role he had with the New York Yankees last season in terms of starting when a lefty is on the mound and sitting against a righty.  His power is still holding steady in that setup as he hit 14 home runs in 140 games a year ago.

Analysis:  Nothing to say here in terms of fantasy baseball usage for Young as he is a limited player even at the major league level.  In AL-only formats that run deeper, you can plug Young in when a lefty is on the mound but that is as far as it goes.
