FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKING NEWS: NFL JUDGE BERMAN LIKELY TO VACATE TOM BRADY SUSPENSION BARRING SETTLEMENT

A source connected to the NFL VS. Tom Brady hearing taking place in New York suggested that federal judge Richard Berman will likely vacate the 4-game suspension Roger Goodell placed on New England Patriots QB Tom Brady unless the two sides come to a settlement agreement prior to their last scheduled meeting prior to the start of the season.  The source reported that Berman is having trouble rationalizing how Goodell could suspend Brady without any "smoking gun" evidence and that he is still holding out hope the two sides can come to agreement so that he won't have to make a ruling one way or the other.

Analysis:  Boy is the NFL screwed.  If Berman vacates the suspension like is looking likely, the whole NFL disciplinary system will go up in smoke.  We wouldn't even be surprised if Le'Veon Bell and Greg Hardy challenged their suspensions as well if Berman does let Brady off.  Brady and his team know they have the upper hand right now and thus will not likely want to take on any agreement where the Pats QB misses games.  Even if a suspension does stick, Brady will challenge that and get a stay which will allow him to play all of 2015 given the lengthy court calendar.  Overall it is looking like a good bet Brady will play all 16 games this season and thus those who took advantage of the discount in drafts will be handsomely rewarded.
