FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FALLOUT: HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF WITH GLEN PERKINS' NECK, QUEUE UP KEVIN JEPSEN

The end of the 2014 fantasy baseball season was not a good one for All-Star Minnesota Twins closer Glen Perkins.  While Perkins had another solid season for the Twins, he would finish the year on the disabled list due to an injured neck that cost him all of September.  Fast forward to 2015 and history is starting to repeat itself as Perkins is headed for an MRI on his neck again and at the very least will get a cortisone shot to alleviate pain that has inhibited his recent work out of the bullpen.  In fact going back to June 25, Perkins has been pretty horrific as he has posted ERA's north of 5.00 both in July and in August.  Hence the MRI and the likelihood the Twins will put Perkins on the DL in order to be safe.  That means that Kevin Jepsen will ascend into the ninth inning where has shown he can get the job done going back to his earlier stay in Tampa Bay this season.  Overall Jepsen has posted a tidy 2.74 ERA and which came on the heels of a 2.63 2014.  Pick up Jepsen in all formats.
