FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING TRADE DEADLINE NEWS: METS HAVE "NO INTEREST" IN JOSE REYES

According to CBS' Jon Heyman, the New York Mets have no interest in opening up trade talks with the Colorado Rockies regarding Jose Reyes.  After the Rockies traded Troy Tulowitzki in a salary dump deal Monday night, with Reyes heading into town, the team now is concentrating on making a separate deal for the leadoff hitter.  The Mets will not be one of those teams due to the remaining salary still owed Reyes at $56 million.

Analysis:  Not a shock there as the Mets won't ever take on big money, instead buying cheaper alternatives such as Kelly Johnson and Juan Uribe.  The Kansas City Royals could be a fit as Reyes would represent a clear upgrade over Alicides Escobar.
