FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING TRADE DEADLINE NEWS: PADRES DETERMINED TO MOVE A PITCHER BEFORE DEADLINE

The San Diego Padres have failed to get a significant deal done despite putting a 'For Sale' sign on anything not nailed down.  They continue to field offers for Justin Upton, Derek Norris, Craig Kimbrel, James Shields, Tyson Ross, and Andrew Cashner.  GM A.J. Preller in fact is "determined" to move a starting pitcher before the deadline, preferably Shields and the three years remaining on his contract.

Analysis:  Rumors are that Preller is incredibly tough to deal with which is why they have not made a big trade yet despite having prime players.  Shields is going to be a tough sell due to his contract but Upton and Kimbrel should both be sent packing if Preller has any sense.
