FANTASY FOOTBALL AT THE COMBINE: MARCUS MARIOTA IMPRESSING EVERYONE

By Randy Rubin

Indianapolis, IN.--If a major prerequisite of being the top pick meant interviewing well, Marcus Mariota would be the locked-in number 1 choice by far.  The poise and well-spoken Mariota is blowing away all the team he has spoken to so far on Thursday but the consensus remains that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take Jameis Winston number 1.  Mariota's showing however is likely to generate more interest in teams looking to move up to get him ahead of the New York Jets at number 6 overall.

-Alabama WR Amari Cooper measured in at 6-1 and 211.  He is likely a top four pick overall who could wind up with the Oakland Raiders.

-Oklahoma WR Dorial Green-Beckham came in at 6-5 and 237.  Another immense size here that has Green-Beckham's stock looking up.

-UCLA QB Brett Hundley measured at 6-3 and 226.  Right now there is a split as to whether Hundley will go in Round 1.  If the Eagles don't move up to get Mariota, they could stand pat and tab Hundley.

-UCF WR Breshaud Perriman will not work out at the Combine but instead will aim for his Pro Day. Likely a second round pick at this point.

-Georgia RB Todd Gurley measured at 6-1 and 222.  A torn ACL has Gurley doing little here but he is expected to go in the second round or maybe higher.

-The Denver Broncos will keep WR Demaryuis Thomas off the market by franchising him.  With the Dallas Cowboys aiming to do the same with Dez Bryant, the WR market could now center on Jeremy Maclin.
