2015 FANTASY BASEBALL INJURY FALLOUT: LOOKING LIKE ANOTHER LOST SEASON FOR JURICKSON PROFAR

What a shame.  For the second season in a row, there is a very good chance that top Texas Rangers infield prospect Jurickson Profar will not play a single game.  After missing all of 2014 due to a severe shoulder injury, Profar chose rehab instead of having surgery.  Unfortunately more pain cropped up as spring training neared and an MRI conducted on the shoulder revealed damage that needs to be surgically fixed.  The Rangers have not said how long Profar will be out but this is a situation that will be measured in months and not weeks.  Once considered the top infield prospect in baseball due to a blend of power and speed, Profar is now becoming a forgotten name due to all the missed time a la Michael Pineda.  Pineda was finally able to make it back for 2014 after missing two years of his own with shoulder trouble but for now Profar should not be picked in any fantasy baseball draft.
