THE FANTASY SPORTS BOSS IN EXPERTS LEAGUE FANTASY FOOTBALL PPR CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TOMORROW

Well this is it.  After a three-season title drought, yours truly has a chance tomorrow to win my the Fantasy Sports Boss Fantasy Football PPR Experts League for the third time and first since 2009.  I am playing the number 1 seed tomorrow which is fitting since I finished as seed number 2.  I survived last week despite stupidly benching Jeremy Hill and his 30 fantasy points for Jonathan Stewart and his measly 6.  The key for me was the Tony Romo-Dez Bryant show Sunday night that netted me six total touchdowns and a ton of points to finish off the win.  My roster outside of Stewart did very well as Demaryuis Thomas scored, Arian Foster was solid, and new pickup Harry Douglas was predictably huge in place of an injured Julio Jones for the Atlanta Falcons.  So with that said here is how things match up tomorrow where I got in projected to win by 2.5 points.

                   Fantasy Sports Boss                  Opponent

QB             Tony Romo                                Matthew Stafford
RB              Arian Foster                               C.J. Anderson
RB              Jeremy Hill                                Matt Forte
WR             Demaryuis Thomas                   Antonio Brown
WR             Dez Bryant                                Emmanuel Sanders
WR             Harry Douglas                           Mike Evans
TE              Jimmy Graham                          Antonio Gates
DEF           Buffalo                                       Houston
K               Mason Crosby                            Caleb Sturgis

This matchup is absolutely loaded as we both have monster up and down the lineup.  We both have great QB matchups as Romo gets the awful Indy Colts defense who figure to sit some guys now that they got the AFC South locked up.  Stafford though gets the historically bad Chicago Bears so that could get ugly for me there.

As far as the backs, C.J. Anderson has been the pickup of the second half but Forte has stuggled badly as the Bears have been blown out so much lately.  He should get a ton of looks in the passing game though with Jimmy Clausen at the helm.  Hill has a tough matchup against the good Broncos run defense but I am obligated to start him after last week.

The receivers are a wash as we both have PPR gems in our first two slots.  If Jones doesn't go again as expected, I am happy with Douglas versus Evans.

The key at tight end is if Gates scores as Graham should outproduce him yards and catchers.  My defense is as good as it gets with Buffalo versus Oakland and Houston will struggle having to stay on the field so much with off-the-street Case Keenum at QB.  Finally the kickers are a wash although Crosby should get more chances in the terrific Green Bay Packers offense.

So there you have it.  How do you think it will go?

  2. You would think until I benched Romo for Matt Ryan. Down 8 going into tonight. Demaryuis and Hill versus Emmanuel Sanders and CJ Anderson. Think I am toast. Also Buffalo defense got me one big point.

  3. Ouch...had Buffalo here as well but the real issue was my opponent's lucky start of Asiata! Sounds like you're going down to the wire. I'd take your pair over his. Peyton extra day of rest/film study means DT hookup. 'Tis the season...baseball time!
