FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 15 POTENTIAL WR LOTTERY TICKETS: HARRY DOUGLAS/MARQUESS WILSON

As always we are doing our best to stay on top of the latest fantasy football news and notes as the playoff weeks continue.  With that said, here are potential gold mine waiver investments to make as Week 15 beckons.

Harry Douglas:  All-Pro Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones sat out practice Wednesday due to the hip injury he suffered in Monday night's shootout loss to the Green Bay Packers.  While head coach Mike Smith professes confidence that Jones will play, this one could go down to a game-time deal as Jones is not expected to practice Thursday either.  Never a quick healer to begin with, Jones had finally avoided in the injury bug this season up until Monday's game.  The results were career-best numbers that have Jones right at the top heap of all fantasy football wideouts.  However his absence would be monstrous for his owners during this playoff week and that makes it imperative for those same individuals to add Harry Douglas as insurance.  The last time this same situation unfolded last season, Douglas produced almost like a WR 1 the second half of 2013 when Jones was lost with a broken foot.  The same deal could occur Sunday as Jones is only 50/50 to go and Douglas will get a chance to feast on a horrific Pittsburgh Steelers secondary.

Marquess Wilson:  The Chicago Bears stole the 6-4 Wilson in the seventh round of the 2014 draft as the athletic wideout had quit his Washington State team last year due to alleged abuse by head coach Mike Leach.  A broken collarbone also interrupted Wilson's first half of 2014 but he will now get his chance to shine out of the slot now that Brandon Marshall is out with a serious back injury.  The Bears love to throw the football with the gunslinging Jay Cutler and that alone puts Wilson into the WR 3 realm.  This could be an absolute steal of an investment for Week 15 given the offense and the opportunity that is at hand as we move toward Sunday's game.  Wilson could very well so a fair Marshall impersonation and the upside is well worth slotting him into your WR spot.
