We continue to update the 2014 fantasy football position rankings as we move closer to the playoffs.  Here is how the tight ends currently stand as Week 11 is already underway.

1.  Julius Thomas:  Already up to 12 receiving touchdowns as he closes fast on the tight end scoring record.  Completely validating his 2013 breakout season.
2.  Jimmy Graham:  Has been nicked up a bit but Graham leads all tight ends in receptions and has 7 scores.
3.  Rob Gronkowski:  Now back completely healthy, Gronk has been unstoppable over the last month.  Really you can rank the top three in any order and I wouldn't argue.
4.  Greg Olsen:  Second among all tight ends in receptions and is in mist of his best season ever.
5.  Martellus Bennett:  No one ever talks about Bennett but he too is having his best season as Jay Cutler's safety valve.
6.  Antonio Gates:  The raw receptions totals are not stellar but Gates continues to kill it in the red zone.
7.  Larry Donnell:  Been a nice out-of-nowhere story at a thin position.  Donnell also a big factor in the red zone.
8.  Travis Kelce:  Looks like the new Jason Witten as a good PPR guy who can also be a handful around the goal-line.
9.  Jason Witten:  Age looks like it is becoming a factor as Witten's numbers are sliding for the second year in a row.
10. Dwayne Allen:  Andrew Luck loves looking for his burly tight end around the red zone.  Getting better and better.
11. Charles Clay:  Has to get into the end zone more but Clay is catching a nice allotment of passes from the developing Ryan Tannehill.
12. Vernon Davis:  Injuries have severely marred Davis' first half which unfortunately has been one of the themes of his career.
13. Delanie Walker:  Athletic tight end is being held back by the awful QB play in Tennessee.
14. Heath Miller:  Mr. Old Reliable for Ben Roethlisberger is still a factor.
15. Jordan Reed:  Once again injuries are ruining some nice potential here.
16. Brent Celek:  Having a solid comeback season for the Eagles after being somewhat of a non-factor during the last two years.
17. Zach Ertz:  So far Ertz has gone bust and actually been outproduced by Brent Celek.
18. Mychal Rivera:  Becoming the new safety valve receiver for rookie QB Derek Carr.
19. Coby Fleener:  Not loved as much as Dwayne Allen when it comes to the attention from Luck but Fleener has scored four times already in a part-time gig.
20. Scott Chandler:  Veteran guy who can help in bye weeks.
21. Eric Ebron:  Will like more next season.
22. Jared Cook:  Being held back by his QB play just like Delanie Walker.
23. Niles Paul:  Was interesting early but the return of Jordan Reed hurts his value.
24. Jermaine Gresham:  Always felt he should have been better than what he has shown.
25. Jace Amaro:  Like with Eric Ebron, needs more seasoning before he is useful.

There you have it.  As always let hear your thoughts on this list.
