FANTASY BASEBALL BREAKING NEWS: RED SOX 2B DUSTIN PEDROIA (WRIST) "100 PERCENT" AFTER WRIST SURGERY

Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia said in a radio interview on Wednesday that he is "100 percent" recovered from his 2014 season-ending wrist surgery.  Pedroia struggled through his worst season ever a year ago amid issues with the wrist but claims it is like "night and day: with regards to his strength and ability to drive the baseball.

Analysis:  Pedroia burned more than a few owners last season as his numbers declined for the third season in a row across the board.  Not all of that can be blamed on the wrist as Pedroia is a slight second baseman who could be feeling the effects of wear and tear.  At 32, Pedroia is entering into some danger zone territory with his age and we would prefer drafting a younger and more upside-centric second baseman.
