What a difference two weeks makes.  After taking an ugly loss right out of the gate and starting at that unappealing 0-1 record, yours truly quickly rebounded the last two weeks in The Fantasy Sports Boss PPR Fantasy Football League by winning my Week 2 and 3 matchups.  While I was heavily favored in Week 2, I was the underdog this past Sunday against a team containing LeSean McCoy, Giovani Bernard, and Nick Foles.  Fortunately I got off to the king of all good starts Thursday night when Matt Ryan netted me 29 points and Julio Jones a ridiculous 37.  It was pretty much etched in stone I would win and this despite the fact that my running back problems continue to be the major red flag of my team as Arian Foster sat with injury and I already cut both Ben Tate and Toby Gerhart who I was hoping one of them would hold down the RB 2 spot.  Having to do some late fine-tuning, I started my two key waivers pickups prior to Week 3 in Knile Davis and Donald Brown.  I had the number 1 waiver claim which I used on Davis and than was also surprised to get Brown.  In addition I decided to start another waiver claim, New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell over Jason Witten.  Witten has looked old and slow the first three weeks while Donnell looks like terrific breakout guy as Eli Manning's top receiving target through the first three games.  Davis netted me 17 points, Brown 13, and Donnell 8.  Meanwhile despite Foles going for 32 points, McCoy had a rare off game with a total of only 2 fantasy points.  My opponent also benched Victor Cruz who had 5 catches for over 100 yards and a score in favor of Kendall Wright who himself scored only 9 points.

So three weeks into the season I am 2-1 and in first place after winning the matchup 158-99.  I also sit in first place as there are no more any undefeated teams and I have scored the most points in the league.  I am rock solid with Matt Ryan as my QB 1 and my incredible receiving trio of Dez Bryant, Demaryuis Thomas, and Julio Jones.  Thomas is off this week which means I get to try out Brandin Cooks for the first time this season.  I am hoping to get Foster back this week as Davis will be pushed back to the bench as Jamaal Charles returns.  I will ride Brown again due to the guarantee of workhorse carries but if Foster is out I am looking at a choice between Zac Stacy and Terrance West.  Meanwhile Donnell has earned the right to start over Witten and my new San Diego Chargers defense has been very solid.  Overall this season has gotten off to a nice start.
