Lots of great action in NFL Week 3 but of course injuries abounded to disrupt things.  Let's check in on all the latest.

-Stick a fork in San Diego Chargers RB Danny Woodhead who is likely out for the season after he fractured his fibula Sunday which will require surgery.  The pass-catching dynamo joins Ryan Matthews on the sidelines for the Chargers which means that Donald Brown is now the jack-of-all-trades runner for the Bolts.  Brown averaged only 2.0 yards per carry though Sunday but did look good catching 5 passes so this is an incomplete deal until we see more.

-Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is headed for an MRI on his injured groin Monday.  Rudolph is increasingly getting an injury-prone label and this is one the heels of an abdominal injury that limited him during the previous week.  Rudolph has yet to make a big impact in the tight end-friendly Norv Turner offense and there are a few solid options available on waivers like Travis Kelce or Larry Donnell to wait around.

-For the second season in a row, Baltimore Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta dislocated a hip.  While Pitta was able to make a comeback last season from the first one, this time around he is finished for 2014.  A real shame as once again Pitta showed glimpses of stardom but his body failed to go along for the ride.

-A fractured foot for Minnesota Vikings QB Matt Cassel has ushered in the Teddy Bridgewater era ready or not.  Bridgewater has good accuracy and mobility but lacks an arm.  Not for use in fantasy football just yet.

-Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker is uncertain for Week 4 due to a wrist injury he suffered Sunday in a horrid loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.  Rookie Zach Mettenberger would be up next and the former LSU standout had a big preseason which makes him intriguing long-term.

-Jonathan Stewart just can't ever stay healthy and it was more of the same Sunday night as he suffered a knee contusion/sprain that could cost him a month.  On a related front, fellow Panthers back Mike Tolbert suffered a hairline fracture in his right leg which could sideline him even longer than Stewart.  With DeAngelo Williams not having suited up in Week 3 with his own injuries, there is no telling what the Panthers will do in their backfield now.

-Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater suffered a fractured foot Sunday which will sideline him for a month.  Streater carries very little value anyway.

-Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton suffered an ankle injury Sunday but head coach Chuck Pagano was quick to say he didn't believe it was a major deal.  Hilton stands a decent chance of suiting up on Sunday.

There you have it.  Check back for more updates as we go on during the week.
