Josh Gordon:  There is some chatter now that Gordon may not be suspended for the entire 2014 season which was the original prediction.  However he is at the very least going to sit for 8 games nad most likely more.  However Gordon may now soon be worth a last round lottery ticket pick if he can get into the playoff weeks in December.

Jeremy Hill:  In some late breaking news, there are rampant reports that new Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson "is in love" with LSU rookie RB Jeremy Hill to the tune of possibly planning to give the rookie 10-15 carries a game this season.  Hill was already slatted for goal-line work and now 10-15 carries overall could be a huge blow to Giovani Bernard's overall value.  Something that absolutely has to be watched closely.

Bernard Pierce:  Yeah we have heard for three seasons running now that Bernard Pierce is outplaying Ray Rice in the preseason but in 2014 this has much more weight considering how awful the latter was a year ago.  In addition Pierce will start the first two games of the season with Rice suspended for domestic violence which means he could literally run with the gig if he plays well the first two weeks.

Zach Ertz:  Be sure you save a roster spot for this burgeoning tight end star.  The Eagles plan to showcase Ertz in the red zone this season which means 10 touchdowns is very possible to go along with 70 receptions.  That would mean Ertz would become a top five tight end for the price of a lower middle round draft pick.

Dwayne Bowe:  Reports came out on Thursday regarding how the Kansas City Chiefs offense won't change much at all form 2013 which is nothing but a negative for WR Dwayne Bowe.  Bowe of course comes off a lackluster season a year ago when he caught only 57 balls and failed to be a down-the-field threat with the short-passing Alex Smith under center.  With Smith's M.O. being the short and safe game, Bowe will continue to be underutilized and thus be nothing more than a WR at best in all setups.

Victor Cruz:  It is really early but word out of Giants camp is that Cruz is having a very tough time picking up new OC Ben McAdoo's offense.  This has some merit when you consider that Eli Manning didn't target Cruz once on his seven throws in the Hall of Fame game.  We still like Cruz a whole lot this season as the McAdoo offense is all about short throws which goes perfectly with the slot receiver's role he plays.

Ray Rice:  The flip side of the Pierce positive showing in camp is the fact Rice is being pushed even further down the fantasy football running back rankings.  Yes he dealt with a bad hip injury last season but Rice looked awful all the way around and now will be suspended for two games.  Move away for good.
