FANTASY FOOTBALL STOCK UP/STOCK DOWN

STOCK UP

Andre Williams:  Every day it is a new story in the New York Giants backfield, with this time around the fact that rookie back Andre Williams continues to take goal-line carries for the team over Rashad Jennings and Peyton Hillis.  Williams was a power back all the way in putting up monster rushing numbers while with Boston College and with David Wilson's career likely over, could be a sneaky good standard league play.  Unfortunately the flip side is that Rashad Jennings falls to RB 3 in standard formats if this hold true.

Reggie Wayne:  Wayne is 100 percent back from his torn ACL from a year ago according to the coaching staff and the plan is to once again feature him in the passing game as a safety valve for QB Andrew Luck.  Despite turning 36 years old soon, Wayne is in position to pass the 80-catch mark and possibly threaten 90 if he can stay on the field.  Wayne's return and the addition of Hakeem Nicks as a free agent should combine to hurt the overall value of T.Y. Hilton who is being overdrafted this summer.

Eddie Lacy:  Nothing but glowing reports regarding Lacy this summer as he Green Bay power back looks to cement his status as a top tier player no matter the position.  While Lacy is considered slightly a step below LeSean McCoy, Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson, and Jamaal Charles, his power running and ability to catch the football should have him firmly in that class this season.  In fact Lacy could surpass them all.  No joke.

STOCK DOWN

T.Y. Hilton:  I have said all summer that Hilton is overrated as he took advantage of injuries to Dwayne Allen and Reggie Wayne to post some big time numbers last season.  Wayne and Allen are both back as is the arrival of Hakeem Nicks which means Hilton will have to fight for catches.  His draft spot is exceeding his actual value.
