Indianapolis, IN.--The madness continues here at the Scouting Combine.  Also be sure to purchase the Fantasy Sports Boss 2014 NFL Draft Guide of which yours truly was a contributor.  Use the BUY NOW tab below to purchase the guide for $15.99.

-Let's get to some more measurements from the prime prospects with some thoughts on each.

-Intriguing Tennessee State tight end A.C. Leonard measured out at 4.50 in the 40 which is a very fast time for a tight end.  Leonard will get a lot of attention now after that run and what is even more impressive is that Leonard ran an unofficial 4.43 which would have been the third-fastest time ever at the Combine for a tight end.  Some off-the-field issues to worry about but Leonard used to play for Florida so his pedigree was there.

-The Miami Dolphins will make every effort to re-sign free agent safety Chris Clemons.

-The Green Bay Packers are fully prepared to let free agent WR James Jones walk.  The New York Giants have already privately expressed interest.

-Fresno State WR Devonte Adams clocked a 4.50 and 4.54 mark in the 40.  Very poor speed for a receiver but as physical as they come.  Reminds many of Anquan Boldin.

-LSU WR Odell Beckham clocked a 4.43 official 40 time but one of his runs was unofficially a crazy 4.31.  Beckham's draft stock is improving exponentially.

-Alabama QB A.J. McCarron clocked 4.94 and 4.91 marks in the 40.  The general talk here has been that McCarron just doesn't have the arm strength to be a consistently good starting NFL QB.  At one point some thought he would go late first round but he has fallen completely out of that round.

-Eastern Illinois QB Jimmy Garapolo is everyone's favorite QB sleeper and his 40 times were 4.93 and 4.95.  Comparisons to Tony Romo abound since they went to the same school.  Rapid release and accuracy are two big positives attached to his name.

-San Jose State QB David Fales clocked 4.94 and 5.03 40 times.  Clear backup guy who has a serious lack of arm strength.

-Fresno State QB Derek Carr did well for himself in clocking 4.68 and 4.65 40 times.  Big time arm and very productive player but the name Carr scares some since brother David was a huge bust.

-Clemson QB Tajh Boyd clocked 4.75 and 4.84 40 times which was a bit disappointing.  Boyd's draft stock has tumbled as he too was looked at prior to the 2013 college football season as a possible first rounder.  Now he is a day three guy at best.

-UCF's Blake Bortles clocked 4.81 and 4.88 40 times.  Bortles has done nothing yet to take away his standing as possibly the top pick in the draft but I for one would not make him that choice at the top.

-Texas A@M' Johnny Manziel clocked 4.63 and 4.56 40 times.  Like Bortles, Manziel is in the conversation as the top pick.

-Contrary to some earlier talk, the New York Jets will not sign QB Michael Vick but instead are eyeing Josh McCown.
