FANTASY FOOTBALL COMBINE REPORT: GREG ROBINSON STAR OF THE COMBINE

By Eric C. Wright

Indianapolis, IN.--Wow.  That is the only word one can use to describe the Combine performance of Auburn LT Greg Robinson who assured his status as the top blocker to come off the board in this year's draft.  Robinson recorded a blazing 4.84 40-time and completed a monstrous 32 reps in the bench press.  While Jake Matthews had gotten the most attention heading into the 2013 season regarding being the top tackle for the upcoming draft, Robinson overtook him during the year and this performance solidifies his spot at the top of the rankings there.

-South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney officially measured in at 6-5 and 266 pounds.  Forget any talk about anyone other than Clowney going number 2 whether it be the Rams or a team that trades up.

-Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater will not throw here at the Combine and instead will do it at his pro day.

-The Green Bay Packers will look to add a young QB in the draft in order to have better insurance in case of injury again to Aaron Rodgers.

-Justin Tuck will be allowed to test the free agent market according to New York Giants GM Jerry Reese.

-Both Dennis Pitta and Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh are confident of the team resigning the tight end.

-Kent State RB Dri Archer came it at 5-8 and 173 pounds.  Very explosive kid who was also constantly injured.  Looks like a third down back who could help in the return game.

-The Eagles want to keep Jeremy Maclin over Riley Cooper among the two free agent wide receivers.

-Rutgers WR Brandon Coleman measured in at 6-6 and 225.  Just huge size for a wideout and Coleman has the classic possession receiver ability.  Has 20 career scores and will likely be an immediate red zone guy.

More later.
