FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKING NEWS: CUBS SP JAKE ARRIETA (SHOULDER) WON'T BE READY FOR START OF 2014

Chicago Cubs SP Jake Arrieta will not be ready to go for the start of the 2014 season due to some shoulder tightness that has lingered over the winter.  Manager Edgar Renteria made the announcement on Thursday as the team got together for spring training.  Arrieta pitched to a solid 3.66 ERA and 1.12 WHIP after arriving via a trade from the Baltimore Orioles last season.

Analysis:  Some strange things going on with the starting pitching fraternity this week as Arrieta joins Hisashi Iwakuma, Justin Verlander, and Cole Hamels as guys who won't or may not be ready for the beginning of 2014 due to injury.  Unlike the other three however, Arrieta was only an SP in standard formats.
