The other day we began profiling the top prospects for 2014 fantasy baseball by looking at the top ten among all hitters and pitchers.  Today we go a bit deeper into the list by taking a look at how makes up the next batch of ten from 11-20 on the overall list.

11. Alex Meyer:  Has a mid-90's fastball, sinker, and slider and the Twins rotation needs help.  Has overcome injuries to reclaim status as one of the better pitching prospects.

12. Kolten Wong:  Could hit leadoff for the Cardinals and has some good runs and steals potential.
13. Miguel Sano:  Big time power hitter who reminds many of Pedro Alvarez right on down to the high K rate.

14. Andrew Heaney:  Top notch control pitcher will have prime chance to make Marlins rotation out of camp.

15. Jameson Taillon:  Yet another prime Pirates pitching prospect.  Has the big time fastball like Gerrit Cole but control was very rough at times last season.  Needs work there before promotion.
16. Chris Owings:  Didi Gregorious is the Diamondbacks' starter for the time being but Owings and his bat will do the talking soon.  Could hit 20 home runs at a power-starved position.

17. Eduardo Rodriguez:  The Orioles could also use a boost in their rotation and Rodriguez has the control and solid array of pitches to be a decent help.  Just doesn't have the K rate to be considered a future ace.

18. Carlos Martinez:  Explosive stuff that is more likely to be used in relief.  Huge strikeout rate in either capacity.

19. Jonathan Singleton:  Has a PED stain to his name but could profile as a 25 home run bat who hits .280 for an offensively weak Houston team.

20. Noah Syndergaard:  Following behind Matt Harvey and Zack Wheeler, Syndegaard is the latest power pitching prospect out of the New York Mets' system.  A guy you may want to stash as the upside is immense.

There you have it.  Check back in a few more days for the rest of the Top 30.
