FANTASY FOOTBALL BREAKING NEWS: BEARS RE-SIGN JAY CUTLER WITH 7-YEAR CONTRACT

The Chicago Bears wasted little time in committing long-term to pending free agent QB Jay Cutler after they signed him to a seven-year deal worth around $18 million a season.  Despite the success of Josh McCown in Cutler's place when the latter was injured this past season, GM Phil Emery clearly preferred the younger and stronger-armed Cutler as his guy.

Analysis:  Cutler is a maddening player both in real football and in fantasy football.  He is blessed with quite possibly the strongest arm in the league but a perennially bad attitude and a high turnover rate have conspired to stunt his growth.
