FANTASY BASEBALL NEWS: MATT KEMP EXPECTED TO BE READY FOR SPRING TRAINING

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp is already hitting and is expected to be ready to take part in on-field activities when spring training begins next month.  Kemp is recovering from ankle surgery and than before that left shoulder surgery.  He has shed the walking boot he was in since the ankle procedure and is ramping up his workouts in order to be ready to go when camp gets underway.

Analysis:  As a former Matt Kemp fan when it came to fantasy baseball, this is obviously some good news.  However take note I wrote "former" when talking about my admiration for Kemp in fantasy baseball terms.  The guy's body is a trainwreck right now and has been for the last two seasons.  At this point he can't be considered an outfielder 1 without seeing if his power and speed comes back from the surgeries.  Proceed with caution.
